Research Method
The front cover of our hard-copy questionnaire
The OWLS study is a two part, mixed-method study where we explore the effects of the pandemic restrictions on people with severe mental ill health. We want to know how people have been feeling, whether they have been able to access health services, whether they have received the social support they need and whether they have been able to use the internet to access essential services.
OWLS 1
We will ask 300 people to complete a questionnaire which asks people about their experiences during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We will ask about 20 people who completed the questionnaire to talk to us in more detail about their experiences.
We will use this information to make recommendations about how people with severe mental ill health can be best supported.
OWLS 2
This is going to be our follow-up survey.
